My favorite word in German.

It means ‚a strong desire or impulse to travel and explore the world‘. (Thanks wikipedia!)

As kids, we used to spent the holidays with the family at home (we had a very big garden), or my parents rent houses in Europe. I’ve seen a few places in France, Germany and Italy. I even traveled to Göteborg (Sweden) in 2012 to visit a friend who was studying there for a semester at the university.

In Januar 2017 my boyfriend’s parents invited us to go on a big trip with them. I think the most beautiful presents are those where you can experience things, and that was a beautiful experience!

I’ll write a big post about our trip in Central America-Caribic.

I want do discover more about the world. This trip in Januar 2017 made me feel a bit like an adventurer, and I spent whole days with the camera, always ready to catch the right picture when some birds flew by.

On Christmas eve, my boyfriend’s dad gave us this puzzle he had made by Ravensburger.

It is a picture he made of us on the island Cozumel, and it totally represents my wanderlust right now.

I’m still working on that puzzle by the way, the sky is a little though with all that beautiful blue!

For the year 2018, I made the decision to travel more. Maybe on my own, because my boyfriend and I maybe not be able to take some days off together. But I’d like to travel with my sister as well, I think Berlin would be great.

My boyfriend is currently looking for a van, maybe we can start travel this year as well in Scandinavia after we did a make-over of the van. But that’s a big project with a lot of work.
